If you have a directors account, you should be able to upload over 10 mins. It even says it here:
http://www.youtube.com/blog?entry=4KWKYZN7znU

The reason why they created the directors account was specifically for people who make videos longer than 10 minutes.

Upgrading to director gave me a 1024MB limit.

But... The darn 10 minute cap is still there!

Hey man, your right..I just tried to upload a 14 min video..I've just been rejected!

It will most likely work on my old director's account. I guess just not on my newer one
