How to get the text/painted words/icons (suchas power button

Post by woox »

I am wondering, if you look on a Wii how it says "Wii" across the front, or the power symbol, or the eject arrow, what can I use to get text printed on my console like that? I am guessing vynl dye, but is there another a more professional way?

Look around online for a place that makes custom decals or a website that shows you how to make your own. Someone asked a similar question recently and there was a link in the post to a website that shows you how to make your own decals. I don't know how well it works as I've never tried it, but It may be worth a shot.

If you're only wanting text, you might look into just getting some rub-on decals from a hobby store. Then you might put a clear coat on top of it to protect the decal letters.
