Whoa! Modding the battery was an intense surgery!

It took me a very tense 45+ minutes to lift the pin 5. Fortunately, I succeeded in lifting pin 5! I shouted "VICTORY!" When I finally lifted the sucker.

My PSP did not come with a USB Cable (screw refurbished units) so I had to use the card reader.

Now to make the magic stick...

EDIT: When I popped the pandora in the PSP, the green lamp came on. I mashed all the buttons, but nothing. When I soldered a wire from the lifted Pin 5 to B-, the PSP yurned on normally. Relief! Sweet Relief! :)

When I put the JigKick in the PSP, the green light just turns on. Nothing else. Is that normal?

(Note that it doesn't have the magic stick yet.)

Yes, I know that. :)

But is that supposed to happen?

EDIT: On the memory stick, there are three folders labelled kd, PSP and registry and 3.71.pbp are those correct?

Followed tons of instructions, format every time, now it's 12:02 AM and there's no dice.

Am I supposed to hold a button while I turn it on or something?

I can't get the pandora to work. Should I call it quits?

Also, I resoldered the pin 5 to B- and the battery seems to not charge! Any help there?
