new harddrive

Well I got a new hard drive http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6822148288
that one to be exact.

The problem is it doesn't show up on my pc at all, I know mt motherboard is 1.5mbps sata so I switched the jumper to that and no success. Any one have an idea whats wrong?

Is SATA enabled in Setup? (And it's not set in RAID mode?)

Maybe your particular drive is DOA. Do you have another PC you could test it with?

Yeah I just installed it as new hardware again and this time it worked.
