How can you enable homebrew on a PSP Phat?

I got a PSP Phat, it's firmware in the 3.xx by Sony itself. How can you enable homebrew on this one? Sorry to sound like a total nothing, but really, I don't know where to start.

P.S: I can make a Pandora if needed, it's just the memory stick itself that leaves me into the dust.

Why not just post it here.. That way maybe it could get stickied and be helpful for everyone.

On-Topic: I'm not completely sure myself, but I think that ShockSlayer is really into the PSP hacking. (Hardware and Software). You could try PMing him and asking him to post some steps.

What you first need to do is find a downgrader. Make sure whichever one you pic is compatible with your current firmware. If you've downloaded a downgrader and downgraded your psp should be at 1.5 official firmware. Next Simply download a custom firmware. When doing that make sure you have the official firmware too. Most Custom firmware files don't include the original firmware which is needed to complete the upgrade. Thats how you get it without a pandora. Now just a fair warning... If you do any of the steps wrong you might brick your psp. Then in that case you'd need a pandora.

You can't. The only way to downgrade anything above 3.50 (I believe), you need to use a pandora's battery.
