Musicians!

So anyway, the guitar learning thread got me all thinking.
There seem to be a few musicians on these boards, I wonder if any of them have anything to show for it.

Myself, besides a single gig a couple years ago when I was in a "band"* all I have is a couple recordings. I've recently gotten into a huge spur of creativity and started recording and producing myself covering a few songs (with me playing all the instruments except drums, which I just use loops for). I've got one totally done, a cover of Oasis' Wonderwall, and I've got another nearly done (should be done tomorrow), a cover of Hey Sandy by Polaris (the theme song to Pete and Pete). If I find a good place to host them, I'll post a link (I might just start a gMail account, attach the songs to emails and give everyone here the name and password).

So post gig stories, recordings, pictures of your equipment, whatever!

I can play drums a little, I am decent with a guitar, and I like to play the piano once in a while (if a popular song has a good piano part, I figure it out). Almost everyone in my family is very gifted musically. My mother can sing and play piano a little. My dad is an awesome jazz/swing drummer. My brother did trumpet but cant sing worth crap. And my sister can sing, and play piano by ear.
I am the same with a piano, but not the degree that my sister is.
Despite all this ability, I most remix and make my own electronic style music. I have DJ-ed before, but I dont like that as much as sitting around, and just making my own mix. Wether it be a club mix or just a song that I decided to make because I was bored, I enjoy just making my own stuff.

synths ALWAYS count. i mean, i guess they don't if all you do is hit the demo key on your casio...

I just started learning guitar a few months ago. I only know two songs though, and they both suck.

I used to play a recorder when I was 5, does that count?

On a more serious note, Anvil Studio is a great free MIDI program. If by "synth program" you mean sequencing music, then here's your program right here. (You may want to google it, I forget where I found it.)

i have anvile studio, but i also want a mixing/synth prog. that doesnt suck and is free lol
