color loss on NES side of retro-duo.

like the title says. I have my retro-duo hooked up to a screen, and it was working fine all day. just recently, the NES games all came up in black and white on the screen, but the SNES games are still in color. does anyone know what wires or components deal in color?

Wow, thats quite odd? Maybe the switch is not going all the way to the 8bit side or something?

do you have it hooked up with s-video? if so, that's the problem. nes is black and white through s-video. if you have the s-video hooked up with all three composite cables also, then the nes usually is black and white for about 5 seconds and then switches to color. it's really weird, but that's what happens.

nope, it's only hooked up through composite. this all worked fine, but then for an unknown reason, it just switched to b&w

Thats weird. Maybe a cable or something inside of it's messed up.

i'm really at a loss on this problem. i went through and reheated every single solder conenction, checked for continuity on every wire i could find, and even moved some jumpers just in case i moved them by accident. nothing, 100% nothing. this is the last damn thing i have to fix and the electronics aspect fo the project will be done. ARG!
