Saw this movie yesterday and I have the song stuck in my head now
. (Duh duh duh duh duh da na na na na na na na na na...) Actually, my whole sophomore class got to see it. (Apparently our average percentile for a standardized test was higher than the state average so they bribed us.)
You know, through out that whole thing I was thinking "Hmm those powercore would be a great battery for a portable N64... it would last longer than the portable would corrode."
All in all great movie, best superhero movie I've seen. Makes me want to go and read the comic book. People thought the beginning sucked, but it is interesting if you know at least something about electronics.

$18.75 + 15% sales tax. Need a calculator?Jongamer wrote:I find it hard to beleave that you pay $20 for 1 movie ticket. And just sneak your own snacks and drinks in, I do it all the time
The most expensive theater in my the area and it is only $7.50 for a ticket.
I'd consider smuggling food, but since the chances of getting to the theatre in less than an hour are pretty slim, pop tends to get warm and flat. Besides, sitting in the car in stopped traffic for an hour, one tends to snack if it's the only thing to do.

The price of the ticket and sales tax seem a bit extreme. I'm assuming you aren't in the US?

I'm in the US, right on the US/Canada border. The only theatre within 90 miles is in Canada.jones wrote:Ummm... If you don't mind my asking... Where do you live?

Border crossing isn't much fun, either. It wasn't bad before the Eleventh, but it's horrid now.

No I mean, I have only done it a few times and I couldn't even get a LED to light up so it doesn't do it for me.
