cutting down the zenith gamecube screen

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

cutting down the zenith gamecube screen

Post by pbutter13 »

I was thinking how im fitting my screen into a ZN-40 from polycase and i just realized that it "length" is 5.25in. With my design that 5.25 is going to be my width and the screen circuit board is about 5.75in wide. How much of that board can i take of with a dremel? Also on the top of the screen i took of the transformer so can i just chop off that chunk of the board too?

you can't really take any off from the width of the screen board...

this is the smallest i've seen one cut down, and Gamelver didn't even cut much from the sides. there just isn't any extra board to cut off.
they call me the Queen of Bondo, though maybe i should be called the Queen of Epoxy Putty
