I can't remember the last time I was so excited and obsessed about a single movie.

I'm not really excited to see it but it is a movie that I plan to see it the night (or day after) it comes out. And me making that choice is rare, I see only a handful of movies a year.

Really considering that most movies come out on DVD about 6 months after the theater. So why spend $10+ to see the movie there, when it is about $5 to rent it from a store. This saves me from, as I see it, burning money.

First off, that's assuming you don't use a system. Secondly, that's assuming you can wait half a year for it to show up on video.

Since the first one isn't self-explanatory, let me elaborate:

Go with a group of 3+, and this will work:

Buy 2 tickets. Send 2 people in with 2 tickets, and have one come out with both, until everyone is in. Then, send one person out with both tickets, return one for a refund, and go back in. Everyone gets in for $10.75 (Where I go, at leasT)

Looks like an ok movie, not quite good enough for me to see it in theater though. Only movies I know of coming out this year that I'd be interested in seeing in theater are Wall-e and The Dark Knight.

May is going to be good - Ironman, Prince Caspian, Indiana Jones...

And then there's all the other good ones coming out this summer, like Dark Knight, Incredible Hulk, etc.

I might see this. I'm not going to spend my money to buy it though. I'm going to watch it online. :)

If I wanted to get into a theater that badly, there are exits at the end of the halls, just walk down there and open the doors. However as ticket sales are down Star is making sure they have someone keep an eye out on those exits.

And besides if you're willing to spend the money to go to the theater it's not because you said "This might be a good movie." No you have standards that this movie has is some way met.

And yeah I can wait 6 months for a movie to come out, you act like that's a long time. It's about the time from Christmas to my birthday, or vice-versa, don't bother me.

I did something like that before, but it was at the Taste of Chaos concert a couple months ago, the person that bought our Tickets only got stadium seating tickets :? it was lame as hell sitting and watching the bands, so I found a friend of mine there with a floor ticket, he was awesome and gave me an my cousin his only ticket, and after getting on the floor, while walking along the railing, my cousin passed me a pack of cigs with the ticket in it :D

We were gonna slip the security guard a $5 for each of us to get on the floor, but thats when we ran into the friend of mine.

It's a movie about a guy who builds a robot suit to fight evil. ROBOTS. MODDING. EXPLOSIONS.

I can't see why anyone on this forum WOULDN'T go see it! Apparently a good chunk of the movie is just him building the suit.

I won't GO see it, but I'll definitely rent it. I don't go to the movies alone, and I don't pay $20 for a ticket, not to mention $5 toll to GET to the theatre.
