So who got GTA4 on release?

I did. Not a massive GTA fan, but I can quite easily say if you hate on this game you most likely haven't ever played it. I had doubts about it living up to San Andreas but yes, this is indeed a better game. In fact even the soundtrack is better this time.

So yeah... who got it? and what do you all think?

I played a Demo of it at gamestop, yea I would rent it, or if someone gave it to me, but I am not going to buy it.

I'm not a racing game fan in the least. I know it's a popular thing, but I suck so very terribly at them, so I never play them.

I wouldn't call it a racing game. Sure you drive cars, but it is more like a 3ps with a bit of driving.

Yeah. If a video game puts me behind the wheel of a car, instant fail. I was ripping through some James Bond game on the PS2 until I had to drive. Over a year later, I've yet to beat that part.

Putting this topic back on er...topic.

I brought the game yesterday and me and my mates spent most of last night (Apart from watching Man Utd Champions League game) playing it.

At first, it took awhile to get used to the cars, but once you do that, its wicked. My favorite bit so far is the car explosions! They look pretty damn...well Pretty. Also love the way you smash through the windscreen if you crash hard enough.

Haven't really done much of the mission side, just wanted to get the hang of it first.
