There may of been a topic on here regarding this but I just wanted to ask is anyone else on it, how is it going for you and is your computer dead yet. I'm now running sp3 and my computer has not blown up yet so it seems fine for me right now.
Please don't let this turn into a fanboy war!

Its supposed to wrap all the fixes from SP2 to now in one package and optimize XP a bit. Going to install it after finals.

I've had it for about a week. Everything seems to be working fine for me! Maybe a little better than before.

I've had it for quite a while; it's a great thing to have. It's like SP2, but with the speed of SP1.

Yes, how? All I could find on Microsoft's site were change logs and release notes.

If it is anything like Vista SP1, it should be an Automatic Update...

Still on SP2 here. Once I reinstall XP on this computer (should be soon), I'll slipstream SP3 in.

Same here as well. SP2 until I decide to update...which will be if I hear good things about performance gains. XP isn't my main OS, it's only really for games.

Read the thread! I used the link on that site, worked perfect.
Running SP3 on my Lifebook now, haven't noticed any speed gains, but I've been updating other Windows stuff. I'll install it on our desktop and other laptop in a bit.

As stupid as I feel saying this, I may also install SP3. Now that I have WoW running off an external hard drive I have a more room for say, Windows.
I have one question for those that have installed it. Does it force any graphical enhancements on you? 'Cause I run Windows pretty minimal as far as aesthetics are considered.
