4 years, tried a number of times to make one. I usually ran out of funds or got bored.

Erm...who is LHOT? I don't remember seeing him once, and if he's come back 4 times, he probably left for like, a week, which is hardly enough to call gone in the first place.

Besidse that, Timmeh hasn't finished a portable yet, either. It's functional, I believe it lacks a controller and a case, but it's working, I think. Hopefully it'll get done by next fall.

Actually, I was mostly active in late 2006. Right as ShockSlayer (I think that's who it was) was finishing up one of his first portables.

I think about building portables, but there is always other stuff I want to spend my money on so I don't bother.
