Does this diagram look correct?

I'm back. My account somehow got deleted, along with all my posts. I have no idea what happened. Anyway, does this diagram look correct? I made it based on Ben's guide. (Source: http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,1 ... 845,00.asp)

Please forgive it's crudeness.

The database for the forums was reverted to a backup made on April 2, so all the posts since then were lost. There's a thread about it in Forum 42.

Actually--I don't think its right. You have your + and - lines going to the same lead on the switch?

No, thats the crudeness of the picture. They are on separate leads.

I could be wrong, but it looks okay.

But my eyes were burned from my skull because of the uber-bright colors you used. Holy game gods, that hurt to look at.

It might be just a problem with me, though, because I have a high-def super-bright screen on my laptop.

Next time, you might want used more muted tones for large pieces. Like dark green, or just outline it and leave it uncolored except for wires.

. I used duct tape and hot melt glue. All is fixed now.

Apparently this is not right because I can get the screen to come on, but the system does not appear to be, and I even tried attaching the 5v reg to it but still nothing.

Make sure you're connecting to the correct spot on the SNES's board. I think ground and power are actually reversed in Ben's book.

Well, tell us exactly which thing you're soldering to first. You could also test with your multimeter which connection is ground, and that would make the other one power.
