Well, in my own NOAC portable, I've learned that if I use the unfiltered video, I get nothing but a few white lines on my screen. Tonight, I'm going to add in the components I took out to see if that solves the problem.

As for the audio, if the screen/speakers you're using has a built-in amplifier circuit, you should be fine with the plain audio. I don't know how to tell if there's an amplifier circuit, though. All I can say is that if you're unhappy with the volume or quality, you may want to consider an amplifier.
