family converter problems

family converter problems

i bought a family converter off of gannon and only half of my games work on it
when I connect the port directly to the board will this change?

the ones that work are the ones before Nintendo gave up on the ADD-on so they have all 72 pins

that should not effect cause the extra pins are not connected to anything I have the same kind gannon sells and works 4 me

I'd say before you do something like that is to take up what gannon said and clean the games your having trouble with. This why you can avoid making things hard on yourself, as connecting the fami-converter to the board might not work and so your back to square one.

If you lack any cleaning kits do a search of the NES 8bit forum as we have talked about cleaning the NES and games.

connecting it directley or with the converter wont change compatibility cleaning may help but its more than likeley issues with the famiclone your useing
