Need help finding ground on this dreamcast controller

I think I need help not finding a ground!
The ground (experienced users correct me if I'm wrong) is the light green part that is connected to basically everything. It is connected to at least one side of every button. If you look above the word TOP there is a wider trace that leads to a hole on the right. That should be ground. If you follow that light green trace, it will be touching all the button connections.

You can connect a wire or pin to the ground anywhere on its section.
