Anyone else here a dirty procrastinator? I just wrote about a million notecards for my English term paper today. I've had quite some time to do these, but I waited until today. Knowing me though, I'm surprised I didn't end up doing them during lunch tomorrow. I seem to just about always do stuff at the very last second possible. (This is probably most of why I never got around to making/finishing a portable; no deadlines for it.) I routinely do homework at lunch, before school, and during the previous block. Everything gets done, but always at the last second possible.
I used to be TERRIBLE about it, but this year I've really started to kick it in. With AP classes, and my GPA slipping (4.0 to 3.85), I'm starting to put work above all else. I guess I was just bad about it because I've never really had to study or work at anything school-related until now.

Well said. I've thought about getting myself in gear and trying to do things as soon as I can, but I figure I'll get on the ball later. I'm way too busy sleeping and things like that to worry about when something gets done. Man, this procrastinating is crazy. I almost didn't post on this topic because I figured I would do it later....wow.

I do a little each day. On spare, at home, on lunch...
And I'm always done early. Spending half an hour a day on something not only keeps the boredom away, it feels like you're barely doing anything, since it's not a large chunk of your day.
Oh I'm a horrible procrastinator. Like the talk I had to give in german class, I did it in the chemistry lesson before
I did get a B-, though. I'm not a bad student, I get good grades everywhere, but I'm terribly lazy and a horrible procrastinator. The fact that I work better when I'm under pressure and that I pay attention in class so I don't have to study makes it work out for me, though. While it is a bad habit, it doesn't cause any problems for me, so I might as well enjoy it.

That happened to me, but I can still get along fine without studying, I think I actually do less work now than in elementary school. 3.0 GPA is still good enough to be in scholarship range with my ACT score, also good enough for the good student discount on my insurance (which I need, or I pay the difference). I always wait til the last day or two to do term projects, and usually end up doing at least as good as most other people.
