New Server this Week - Really

I plan to buy a dedicated box tomorrow and start setting it up. Turnover would be sometime this week, probably by Friday. It should kick ass. The site won't be that different for starters, but we'll probably add functionality and more stuff down the line.

When the forums are backed up I'll let you know (and they'll be locked) so there won't be any lost posts.

Keep your fingers crossed, and be sure to support our ads! (since the new box is significantly more expensive)

To get ahead of the curve, don't bother discussing donations/etc... JUST SUPPORT THE ADS. Of which there will be more.

Good seeing you all at MGC this weekend!

Although I'm sure if we have maybe 50 active users, and we set a quota (every user MUST click 2 ads daily), we could all support this site with 2 minutes of work weekly.

Well, if you put ads in and they show up on the pages that get dugg/engadgeted/whatever'd you should be able to cover the costs.

While you've got the hood up, why not rename the Wiki the "knowledge base" or something like that? We need to get people working on it again. (Maybe we could come up with a 'sprite sheet' of sorts for remastering the diagrams?)

Nah. I'm just messin' with ya.

I'm heading over to Ben's to work on it tomorrow. There will be some downtime on the forums, but it will be worth it in the end.
