Dont let me touch your computer
Because I would kill it. Posting again from a Sega Dreamcast because yet another computer decided to mess up. I try to boot it and it comes up with NTDLR is missing. I looked it up and one of the causes would be a misdirected boot command to the wrong hard drive (I have 3 drives). I pressed escape but I do not know the administrators password. Am I going to have to reinstall windows?

If you can get to a command prompt, then you could put ntldr on a disc (CD, floppy, usb) from another computer and then copy it to C:\Windows on the computer with the error. You will need to have hidden files visible to copy ntldr from another computer (While in a folder go to tools>folder options>View and go down to "view hidden files and folders" and make sure its checked). Also, you could do a repair install from a windows CD. A windows restore disc usually wont have this option, so it needs to be a windows installation cd.
Hope that works for ya. I hate that problem. I work on computers a LOT so I see this kinda often.

Well problem fixed. The problem was that the boot order got screwed up. It would go towards the CD drives before the Hard Discs and since one of my hard drives was in the cd drive area, it tried that drive only. I figured this out after reformatting it when installing Damn Small Linux to see if I could retrieve my files.....I lost all my anime

you didn't know this? I would advise against it though because its slow as hell and hard to type with the DC controller.Dr. KillGood wrote:WAIT!? SEGA Dreamcast can go on the internet?gamer2 wrote:Posting again from a Sega Dreamcast

About the splash screen... There's a jumper on one of my computers' motherboards that allows me to switch between the motherboard manufacturer's Logo and the computer manufacturer's logo. So, it could be a BIOS setting, and it could be a jumper setting. The easiest thing to do would just be to look up the manual for your motherboard.
