"Real" Pokemon? Yeah, right....

Post by Aguiluz »

*snicker* Looks like there's an entire group of people who believe that Pokemon are real. No, I'm not making this up. They take it seriously, and even made religions bowing down to "high" and "mighty" legendaries as their actual God. Ouch.

You know what? I think they watch and play too much.

Forum here: (CONTENT MAY OFFEND)

Look at the warning label:

Non believers talk here
"Go into other threads and I'll ban you personally!"

And I lol'd at this:

"You say you have a Pichu? Do you have any proof?"

"I honestly wish I could give more than my word. But I can't, one because I'm unable to use a camera, and two, I don't want to because my Pichu is young and I think that taking pictures of him with a camera could be quite scary for him. I'm really sorry, but all I can give is my word."

A real Pichu!? Now that's got to be world news!

Credit for finding this site goes to my friend bmah. (No, he's not in BH.)

EDIT: I haven't posted much because I'm busy...

You can tell they're all a bunch of noobs by the size of their sigs. Anyone in 800x600 or less beware to scroll in every direction. I think some of them go into the third and fourth spatial dimensions they're so big...

This could be a combination of
Mental Retardation and a lot of Pot smoking (Cennar). Perhaps just schizophrenia.

Using my PSP there was a nightmare. I got to do a hard reset. One person actually has a signature longer than my post up there!

Probably the schizophrenia. They are so into it that the reality they live in is twisted.

No offense, but that's just so sad...

"The majority of you who come in here and try to refute us, your only argument is "Pokemon aren't real because I can't see them, I've never seen them, and probably never will see them."

Sorry to say this, but you are only one out of over 16 billion people on this planet, and just because you haven't experienced something, doesn't mean that's how it is. You can't see love, you can't see hate, and you can't see evil or good. You probably will never see them in your entire life, but do they exist? In my experiences as a human being, they do, and they are very real."

"I really think my partner is Growlith. I mean there is just this devine CONNECTION that I feel when ever I think of him. I plan on visiting Hawaii pretty soon, so my theory is that if I jump into a volcano, Growlith will eather save me or take me to the PokeWorld."

"As silly as this sounds, I only want one Zangoose.
When I was playing my Ruby version, I had one Zangoose, named Paul.
He would always be so strong, and the way that he would look at the screen was, well, different then all of the other Zangoose that I ran across. I don't know how to explain it. But just the way he looked at me...it was magic, I don't know. Anyway. One day, Paul, I'll meet you in real life. I promise."

...Must... resist... comment... about... "a lot'...

Anyway, yeah, this site is pretty messed up. Who's up for a theological debate with them? :P

(That's a quotation from the site...)

Weee... Reminds me of "Hot-Foot it into the Volcano" from Super Mario 64.

Well, take a jump and let's see what happens.

If pokemon are real then G.I.R. must be real. (I saw a squirrel, it looked like this!)

Reminds me of the time someone here found that forum full of people who still believe the Earth is flat and there's a big government conspiracy keeping us away form the "ice wall" that keeps the oceans from pouring away as we "fall up".

But real Pokemon? What? The person who started that forum probably just saw a Siamese cat that looked similar to the one that follows those two people around who are always trying to catch the yellow thing instead of catching one of their own. I'm sure some of them were based around real animals. (Especially since there's, what, 1000 of them by now?) But believing these things are real is crazy.

The average age there must be 13 or 14, judging by the overall level of maturity and intelligence. (And someone who can't remember a time before Pokemon is probably the only one who would fall for this.)

Groups like that make me lose what little faith in humanity I have left.

Also, free forum host?

Wait, that guy has a Pichu? Man, and all I got from this stupid egg is a Machop.

Heheh... Sorry for the joke. But I couldn't help it.

I honestly think they're just putting on a show. Note the "Roleplaying" section.

Well my faith in the next generation just dropped to less than nothing. I confess, I gave Pokemon a try. Six games later, without a single difference, I've lost interest.

Huh. They seem to have a problem with "trolls". I wonder why that could possibly be.

Pokemon is awesome. At least, it was when it first came out. The original 150 and the first two interchangeable games rocked! Pokemon cards were my favourite thing in the world.

The Earth *IS* flat >=(

The more I think about it, the more I think the whole thing is fake. Anyone capable of human language should be above that kind of thing.
