LCD Pains...

Ok, my friend gave me an old LCD monitor and it doesn't power on. When I plug it in, the power LED glows yellow, but after that, no dice. Any idea's about what could be wrong with it? Is it an easy fix?

What brand is the monitor?

I've had a handful of Dell monitors that you can fix with a couple of capacitors.

Lots of tutorials online on how to fix it too.

Well i found this and it says fuses, But I was originally thinking caps.
The monitor is a MAG, I think, but I've never heard of them.

OH! I SEE! You meant to say "you're". Yeah, that's a typo that's hard to do without doing it on purpose.

Back on topic, it looks like the monitor's power supply is either shot, or it's something simple like a fuse that must be replaced.

While the screen is on and has something being inputted, put a flashlight on the screen and see if you can see anything at all. It could be a dead backlight, which would make the screen appear to not be displaying anything.

I often get your and you're mixed up, but screw off English isn't native for me.
