DVD Woes *****UPDATED*****

Alright guys, My moms friend just gave me 2 DVD players to fix. I get cash if I fix them. And I NEED cash.

First DVD Player problem:
When this DVD player plays a DVD, the DVD will play for a while and then the disc tray will open by itself. (You can easily close the tray and then select where you were in the scene selection and that will fix that problem temporarly. But I dont want there to be a problem at all. Any suggestions?)

Second DVD Player Problem
Problem is: The DVD player wont play any dvd. The lense works, the laser shines, and the disc spins, but it says "No Play". I tried it on a DVD-R, and a regular DVD. Any suggestions?

1. Check all connections, maybe something is shorting and making it open.

2. Check all connections and clean the laser (rubbing alcohol on a q-tip).
