USB Sensor Bar Questions about Resistors and Wiring. *56k*

Hi guys. Some questions for ya.

1) I have TWO 47 Ohm Resistors. I want to solder them together so they act like ONE 94 Ohm Resistor. How do I do this? (Wait until you see the picture. Is that how I put them together?)

2) I notice there are 4 color rings on each resistor (Gold, Red, Black, Yellow). Does it matter which way I solder the resistor? (Theres 2 legs on the resistor. Does it matter which one I solder to the positive, and which one I solder to the other Resistor?)

3) Is this how you wire 4 LED's together from a USB? (If not, Can you guys please correct me with a proper picture? Make sure the picture includes the 2 resistors, and how to solder them together so they act like ONE 94 ohm)

1.) Just connect two leads together like you have in the picture

2.) You can connect them any which way you like; resistors aren't polarized so it doesn't matter which end goes where.

3.) You have to hook it up to the +5V pin and the GND. Just google USB pinouts and use that.

Alright thanks. I just got them working. Ran into a few problems, but nothing that I couldnt get by. Oh man, I globbed the solder so much. (My soldering iron is horrible. Im actually a pretty great solderer. At work I use a Weller 3000 800w. At home I use a 30w Nexxtek. My soldering iron at home.. SUCKS)

So I got the lights working, and I got my Wiimote connected via bluetooth. Now, what do I need to use my wii as a mouse? (So like when I point it at the lights, my mouse moves. Since I have the ir lights now, I want to be able to move my mouse, just like I move the cursor in the wii menu. How can I get my mouse to move like the cursor does in the wii menu?)

Also. I've seen videos of peoples usb sensor bars having 2 leds, and 4, and 6, and 8 etc. Whats the benefit of having more/less LEDs? (Performance wise.)

And what about spacing? The way a sensor bar works is like this: LEDs---------LEDs.

Whats the benefit of having a big or little space between the 2 sets of LEDs? (I heard that, if you have a big space, you have to be far away. But if you have a little space like 10cm, you can be closer to the screen and still have the wiimote see the lights. Is that true?)

More LEDs might make it easier to see from far away or something. I dont think it matters.

The Wii probably does some trigonometry to figure out where you are. The distance between the LEDs would be a constant in their equations, and if you change it, you will trick it into thinking you are closer/farther away.
