Portable DVD player screen help

I am new to modding so I appologize for future reference.

I was just wondering if I could just leave the light bulb in the screen and then double the battery power? By the way I am using some spare L Li-ion batteries.

DONT USE THOSE BATTERIES! Be wary, lith-ions can explode if you dont use a special pulse charger. In fact, some online stores wont sell them to you if you cant prove what youre doing. And judging by your question, you dont. Do a bit of battery research. And if i seem harsh, i have a pet that was killed by a lith battery that i was charging with just steady current, back when i was a newb.

My parrot thought that a nice, warm, charging battery would be a great place to sleep...
