WTB/T Laptop... ANY laptop...

I'm looking for a laptop... any laptop. I have like... NO money, so actually I couldn't probably afford anything above $20.

It only needs to be able to do some basic things like internet browsing and word processing. I'll look around for things I could trade instead, but in the mean time, does anyone have an old laptop they'd be willing to part with? Even something with like... a 333MHz CPU and 64MB of RAM would do.

dell latitude XPi

p1 120mhz 24mb ram 814mb hdd windows 95, double the ram and get a MA401 wifi card and it will work pretty decently. it gets fantastic battery life for something so old too! (2+ hours by my testing) would come with port replicator and charg cable, weigs about 6 lbs

i would hold out for better offers lol. its screen is STN and crap, its usable but mostly useless

if your still interested in this guy id talke like 25+shipping on it, it does work good but thats subjective at best, get a ram bay cover and double the ram in it and it should be somewhat usable with linux or windows 98 but no speed demon like my tecra was (150mhz with 144mb ram that thing kicked ASS) i shouldnt have sold that to CTfan lol

None of my crap has any value...

Triton, wow... I'm not so sure that would have the power I need... But, I'm more concerned about the screen size and clarity. Can I get a couple shots of it to see its cosmetic condition?

screen quality is basically crap, moving images ghost but stills arent bad, otherwise its pretty clean and solid, missing one flip down foot thingy on the right side and the ram cover and thats all. i think its a 12" screen, clear and readable but ghosty

Ah, I'm probably not gonna be able to buy one from you guys anyway... the only way I might be able to do this is if I traded, but I don't have anything that I want to give up that has any value.

I guess I'll just wait 'till I build my GC laptop, build another one, and then sell it for $1000 on eBay... THEN I'll get myself a laptop.

if you could afford it im considering selling my ever trusty lifebook B2630, its in great condition and works fantastically but im really needing something more than 900mhz and 246mb ram. i would be asking 250ish or 275 if i include the awesome wifi card i have (3com a/b/g with a slide out antenna, it doesnt stick out the slot at all when closed!)
