Help hacking a Dell Laptop monitor

I've used this website before for hacking a hip gear a few days ago. I HAD an old laptop. Now i have a rechargeable Li-ion battery and a 15 inch laptop monitor model number B250XG02 I spent a good 4 hours and I cant hack this screen. Its a 30 pin connection. If somebody can help me, i'd really appreciate it. In the process of making either a small desktop 'plug and play' arcade pack man for my pool room or a portable N64.

For laptop Lcd's you need a controller to run it.

Email this Ebay seller and see if his controllers will work with your Lcd. You need the actual Lcd model # that is on the Lcd and not the laptop model #.

Damn, that sucks. Looks like I'm going to put that project on hold for a while. Thanks for the help.

Would i need both the controller and the back light inverter. 120+ seems just a little much to hook up a old screen. Would there be any other way. A backlit screen wouldn't be to much of a problem for me, because i could always hook up a few LEDs to light up the screen. Figured out I'm prolly just going to build a wooden frame, and get an old school nintendo joystick and make my own mini portable arcade game. Prolly hook up the super joy thing into it.
