Next year, pocket TV=cheap-as-chips?

Well because next year the who "digital only" TV thing is going into effect, so wont all those pocket TV's become SUPER CHEAP as the retailers try to get rid of them all?

I haven't seen a pocket TV in the stores in years. (Except the really dusty one in the display case at Radio Shack.)

Once they move exclusively to digital, they should make a PDA size pocket TV with video inputs. That would be pretty awesome. I mean, it's not like LCDs cost a fortune anymore... Someone could probably make one with one of those ATSC tuner boxes and a PSone screen.

But for portablizing, AEIcomp LCD modules are best. They're really compact with no extra BS to deal with, and some already come LED-modded.

No you don't want that one. You want <a href="http://www.aeicomp.com/Detail.asp?Produ ... D35L">this one</a>. It's bigger and higher resolution but costs the same. Just add batteries and a case.

NOOO!! Darn, i was going to post a thread just like this today! Anyway, the big market wont be new ones, stores dont even carry them anymore. There will be a LOT of cheap used ones when people realize that they are totally useless...To normal people!

Yeah those little screens are nice, shipping is about 25$ as well for some reason. There is a 3.5" VGA on that site also for 250$.

Is there any videos or screenshots of the Aei 3.5 analog screen in action? Im curious how bright they are.
