how sad is this.. When galaxy came out, I got it a day early at target, because I saw it behind the counter and told them I wanted one. So I called two nearby targets, and one said "It doesn't come out till tomorrow, but we won't have it till tuesday" and the other had no idea about it, and just read me off names of games with mario in it...

I really want it, but I too forgot to reserve it. (I kept thinking Nintendo was still delaying it!) I've camped outside Target before, how early should I get there?

For those of you who are worried about not reserving a copy, don't be. This isn't the Wii launch with ridiculously limited supply. According to a buddy of mine who has connections at Best Buy: "There will be a LOT, don't bother preordering"

I haven't preordered either, so I hope he's right.

Okay, Best Buy has a ton, but what about Gamestop? I know they're not too good at uh... having copies of things.

Just got back from Best Buy.

(I'm the guy on the far left. Also, we had two more guys with us, but they left right away after they got it.

) Also, Wii hats and gloves are cool.

We got there at 10. We were real close to the beginning of the line. We were the second group of people behind the pre-order people. It was the best feeling in the world walking by everyone who didn't have the game yet on the way out.

Now, to play the game (Don't expect to hear from me for awhile)!

Got it at midnight @ Game$top. The tourney at mine had over 250 people! Of couse, I came in 3rd.

Didn't win crap, though. They gave stuff away off of trivia questions too, and one of the questions, for a free copy of Brawl, was "Who holds the Donkey Kong world record?" And when I confidently answered, "Billy Mitchell", they wouldn't let me get my copy 'cause I already had it paid off.

So ghey.

But yeah, this game is so incredible! TOTALLY worth a Wii alone; couple that with TP, Galaxy, Prime 3, No More Heroes, and others, all you newfags who complain about it having no hardcore games can go suck an egg.

I'm surprised that Kirby is actually pretty damn solid in this game! Meta Knight sucks a bit more than I thought, though. He's got some great chain attacks and all, and he's damn quick and has great recovery, but he can't finish to save his life. (That's what she said). Anyways, have fun on Brawl all, hope to see you on there!

they wouldnt let us in the tourney, they only took the first 40 people

so we set up a tv and my we and played brawl outside with everybody else who they wouldn't let in

My brother lost in the finals... this has happened I think 3 other times to him in Melee tournaments.

He sent me a text message last night after the tourney that said, "Lost in the finals... AGAIN." Poor brother...

Well, you all have fun with Brawl... I'm gonna go NOT play Brawl due to my lack of a Wii.
