What happened to the good ol' days when quality programming like The A-Team and Macguyver and Matlock ruled the airwaves :(

Does anyone else think there is some sort of magical "TV effect" you have at one point in your life? I mean, I used to love certain shows, but I'm only 18 and I've begun the whole "Back in my day..." schpeil.

And I remember how my grandma loved Leave it to Beaver, and my dad loved Howdy Doody Time, and I loved Rocko & Stimpy... Of course we all liked more shows but that's just an example.

I can see my little sister in a few years. "Back in my day we had the greatest shows on television, like Dora the Explorer and American Idol."

Ew. But is/was my dad saying the same thing about me? And his mother? etc.

(or maybe not an etc., since TV isn't that old...)

We just have to face that the TV that made our childhood's great is DEAD. Doug, Hey Arnold, Ren & Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, The Super Mario Bros Super Show, Ahh! Real Monsters, and many other great shows where even the worst episodes are soo much better than the best episodes put on today will always a fond memory.

We just have to catch the re-runs, buy the DVDs or Download them which ever but one thing is for certain. We must show the kids of today how good the cartoons of yesterday were compared to the crap that is now.

Infact I am going to "aquire" some Rocko on the internet.

Here's a little treasure trove of free, full-episode streaming TV websites. Eventually I might organize them into a nice-looking interface, but for now a bunch of links will do. It's like On Demand service for cheapskates :P None of these should need any weird browser plugins, just Flash Player. They're in no particular order, these are just all the ones I could find. Some allow full-screen playback.

If you guys know of any more, I'll add them to the list.

http://arresteddevelopment.msn.com/
Arrested Development on MSN

http://www.tnt.tv/dramavision/
TNT - They Know Drama And Law & Order reruns

http://www.adultswim.com/video/index.html
Adult Swim. 'nuff said.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/
Videos from our friendly but odd-speaking neighbors from "across the pond"

http://www.hulu.com/
You want it? it's probably here.

http://www.nick.com/turbonick/
They have a bunch of the classic cartoons they're too chicken to run on the real network because they think they can live off Spongebob forever.

http://www.fox.com/fod/
Fox on Demand

http://streamingtvepisodes.com/
No videos, but lots of categorized links to legit streams.

http://www.cbs.com/innertube/
It's CBS.

http://www.usanetwork.com/fullepisodes/
It's USA Network.

http://www.cwtv.com/cw-video
The only thing good they run anymore is Smallville, but whatever.

http://www.cnn.com/video/
That is CNN.

http://abcfamily.go.com/abcfamily/path/ ... page_Video
ABC Family! Hey, they have Life with Louie and Eek!

http://dynamic.abc.go.com/
ABC!

http://video.discovery.com/
Discovery Channel!

http://www.nbc.com/Video/
NBC!

And of course there's always Google Video, YouTube, and the seedier parts of the Internet, but let's not get into those.

The Writer's Guild of America hates me right now.

Whoops, lol. Meant to say Rocko AND Ren & Stimpy. Got confused and thought I finished one word or another... I'll just keep it there for laughs.

There arent ANY good shows on TV... yes thats right. NONE

Everything that was any good either got cancelled, or airs on a 2-year delay... as for example. The season premiere of South Park Season 11 aired 9 months after it did in US.

Another example would be Kim Possible season 4

And what I really hate about Nickelodeon (Or I guess they just call it Nick because Nickelodeon was too long and too complex) is that whenever they make a new episode of something, they advertise like CRAZY! Like whenever there's a new Spongebob (Oh boy!) they're like, "This Wednesday, it's CRAZY AWESOME SPONGEBOB DAY!! NEW EPISODES!!" I thought TV shows were supposed to have new episodes on a regular basis. Why does it need to be a big event? Oh, and then, after the episode airs, it's just a regular episode, nothing special, usually not even funny. I'll admit though, the old OLD Spongebob was great! Like when his voice was different, and the animation was hand drawn. (At least, it looked hand drawn.)

Also, what the HELL is will all the singing? Every frikkin new episode has Spongebob singing. Just because High School Musical did well, doesn't mean that anything with singing is going to do well.

(Also, about Spongebob, (I can go on for hours) why does every episode has Patrick making that stupid face where he has one tooth and acts all cute? It was funny the first time, not the last 34 times.)
If you're looking at this post and it was made before 2008, just ignore it.
