need help with XBOX 360 controller

ok well im not exactaly experienced with electronics past being able to build a computer and remember where things go

so my right trigger stopped working on my microsoft wireless controller so i made sure it moved right, once i finally got the dang controller open i looked at it, the little piece the white arm is in is moving and it looks exactaly the same as the left trigger is there anything i might be missing? is there anything i can do to make this work? i mean i kinda voided my warranty id rather not buy a new controller

Probably the potentiometer that the trigger is connected to is busted. I might be willing to fix it for $5 if you pay shipping both ways. If you did not know that was the problem, please don't try to fix it, you will only break it further.
