Using the Titebond III, and you should be just fine. It's wonderful stuff. Let it cure for a full 24 hours, and you should be just fine. Good luck!

It's been 24 hours, and the neck seems very solid but I think I'm gonna have to reglue the bridge.

EDIT: May not reglue bridge, I'm gonna go pick up some acoustic strings and check it out.

The strings pulled the bridge up, but the neck seems pretty solid. I just unglued the bridge with a putty knife heated over a pot of boiling water.

Or use MIGHTY PUTTY!

Can you feel the glue in the neck? Does it feel weird when you hold it?

I'm gonna use Titebond III. It's pretty permanent, I just didn't use enough. I think I saw that instructable. I'm gonna use a piezo like he does. The neck doesn't feel too weird but the glue's a bit messy. It's alright for the most part.

Yea it does seem cool but a regular baseball bat wouldn't be wide enough unless I used the barbell bat, but then it wouldn't even look like a baseball bat.

Once the Titebond is fully cured, you can sand your excess away. If you want to protect the finish around it, cover it with some electrical tape or masking tape.

Can you slip the top of one of your clamps in the soundhole so that you can get a good grip on the bridge? Getting some pressure on that glue joint is really going to help it set well.

No my clamps are whimpy. I came across this site which has some good info: http://frets.com/FRETSPages/Luthier/Tec ... uebr2.html I'm gonna check my garage for a clamp like that although I doubt I'll have one. I can also ask my neighbour who has a lot of crap. If not I'll improvise something.
