Geez, you guys don't have to be so flame-tasticly-flaming towards SS. Yes, his cases are VERY ugly and he should try to improve in that area. Still, he was able to make a...battery-powered wii...thing and a SNES portable (not handheld, but portable) in a very short amount of time. Give the guy a little credit.

SS - Next portable you do, spend some time on the case. Make it look nice. You'll be glad you did.

Now would you all please just calm down? So much anger. We need peace. :)

The "Wiip" looks like somthing my uncle could have weld in his dirty garage... (lol)

But it'd certainly give you a lot of fun if there's a electricity problem in your area...

I guess you weren't giving a <insertbadwordhere> about the look of your portables while making them so I think it's cool, not nice looking, but cool ...

If you were happy making it, then it was worth making it, forget the negative comments.

I know, I know. You mentioned and all, but it's just that I'm certain you are capable of making beautiful cases. It's just that you're not even trying.

and that makes me sad.

But anyway, good job. I have decided to get back at my project myself, too.
However, I have also decided that the dead pixels on my screen DO bug me after all. So I decided to buy a new one (hooray, more delays! ...wait)

May I know the dimensions of that wiip?

How many hours do you get off of your wiip?

I have to side with SS on this one guys. They may be ugly, but they're quite amusing to see. (Who would want to tear apart their Wii? Crazy, that's who!) A case takes as long a a portable itself. Try making one. Get some measurements, bondo (putty and that car finisher xylene stuff) and sandpaper, and make us a nice case.

Kurt - you are an idiot, how dare you make such a stupid, childish, unjustifyable and hurtful comment, if you have any conscience at all you should leave this forum immediately, like you promised us recently you would - just go, you won't be missed by many.

And so we begin...

@Kyo- I'll get those dimensions when I reassemble it, just imagine a car battery with a wii strapped to the side.(oh....wait.... :?)

@dudex77- Actually, it's battery life isn't measured in hours. It's measured in days. I'm dead serious. This thing lasts a very long time. I didnt get a chance to run it down before my dad took it, so more on that later. :P

@Kurt_ -Thank you for your first paragraph. I'm serious. Thank you a lot! I will make you and everyone on benheck nice case! Right after I become hokage, Believe it!(that last sentence was a joke) The last 2 sentences of your post were somewhat unnecessary, but after having been here a while I kinda doubt bacteria is a pedo. If he is, I would be awestruck. But at first I was against the idea of a 40 year old man(right?) being a member of forums where a bunch of 14 year olds hang out/around/in. But after showcasing his projects and portablish creations, we all pretty much agreed that he had no wrong intents.

@bacteria - Wow. I have never seen that side of you. Have you and kurt been fighting over PM's or something? If so, I encourage you both to stop and be nice to each other, as I find both of you good forum members and I do not wish for either of you two to leave. There is no point in fighting anyway, neither of you two will meet(one in canada, one in the UK? come on!) or gain anything. I think that your both great.

@bic- Interesting picture. However, with this I would like for either you or the nearest mod to lock this topic. It was really only meant for a quick showcase, and I can see it getting worse. Thanks.

We've all got different passions in portablizing, SS's is obviously the wiring and massive hot-gluing part of the formula. :D Pretty or not, at least they work, man. Bravo!

I actually thought it was kind of cool, because you don't see it every day, and his projects are amazing. I don't think that age really matters, especially on the internet.

Besides, what kind of pedo would go to this kind of site?

To get back on topic, I think it's... an original idea to use a car battery, although that kind of takes away the p-part. Hey, I just realized that pronounced you'd say Wii-Pee (here we go again with the jokes)

SS, I will give you extra cool points if you show me a video of you playing that while walking down a street full of people :D

Ok, I have a right to reply:

We all get old in life and as you get older your interests develop. Many of my good childhood memories are from playing games in arcades and home systems and I still love games. I came to BenHeck as it appears to be the best internet site for improving game consoles by making them portable and at the same time making them more accessible to use; that is why I am here; also I like making and creating things. Anyone who considers anyone would come to a site like this one who isn't a geek and games lover and here for any other motive is sick. This isn't a chatroom, and for the record, I have never been in chatrooms nor ever will be.

On this site, age should be irrelevant as it is a geeky site for geeks, with common interests. Sure, I spend a lot of time on this forum, but have you considered that is because I don't know anyone in real life who shares my passion for this hobby? Even my wife is only interested in the finished results and not WIP, I get a blank look when I try to tell her about my project work, so as a result I have long since given up trying. You lot however share my interest and passion, so naturally I am on this site, sharing knowledge with similarly minded geeks.

When you guys get older you will also take offence if anyone accuses you of being a pedo, even in jest, it is not a jesting matter (hence I lose my sense of humour on this): It is downright offensive. This is twice now that Kurt_ has made these comments; of course I take offense to his comments. I would have thought the moderators would have backed me up as the injured party (his comments were inciting hatred and abuse, that must be against forum rules, yes?) rather than passing it off as an "argument".

I want to nip this in the bud once and for all. I am older, get used to it. I can't help being older any more than you can help being younger. I just want to share my hobby with other people here, not be subject to abuse. Hopefully this is the end of the matter, so we can draw a line under this and move on?
