PSone screen?

Honestly, what do most people use to power a PSone screen?

6 sub-C NiMH, with capacities varying from 3300mAh to 5000mAh (you can use a 7.2v RC car battery pack, thats usually what they're made of). Pretty much the best bang for your buck. If small size is needed, then li-ion or li-poly, but they cost a lot, tons of power for their size, though.

7.2v? Doesnt' the PSone take 7.5V to run?

six of those in circuit(?, the one with 7.2V), and could i use my 9.6V Radioshack NiCD/NiMH charger to charge them? (With the appropriate connection, of course)

No store I know of sells PSone screens anymore, used is about the only way to get them.

It'll run off of 7.2v, but your diagram doesn't do what you think. You'll need 6 rechargeable batteries (1.2v each) in series (which gives you 7.2v). Series adds the voltages together, but Ah is unaffected. Parallel adds the Ah, but voltage stays the same.

EEr, i was talking about buying the batteries. I can manage a PSone screen.

Ok, so i buy 6 of those subC's, and put them in a series circuit, 7.2V/3500mAh.. which will last just over an hour?

Also, my 9.6V NiHM charger will charge these with the currect connectors, right?

I got an RC car battery pack for $25 at Radioshack.

Should last several hours, the screen only draws about 750mA (or thats the generally accepted value).

It might overcharge it, just depends on f its smart or not.
