Cloverfield was good. Lots of hidden stuff. Extra points for after-movie entertainment trying to figure out what the hell you just watched.

I am Legend for best recent post-apocalyptic movie.

Superbad was pretty good, despite the name.

Looking forward to seeing Be Kind, Rewind.

I don't want to make an "I'm leaving" thread, but I've sort of lost interest in this board. So if you notice that I'm gone, that's why.

Yeah I actually liked that movie more than I did Pirates 3, maybe because Pirate 3 was to damn long for me, and I had to take a pi** real bad through half the movie, and I hate getting up in the middle of a movie and walking in front of a ton of people, plus you barely know what is going on after you get back.

Cloverfield was the best monster movie I've probably ever seen. There Will Be Blood was also very good, mainly due to Day Lewis.

I'm glad Jumper's got decent-ish reviews, the trailers looked cool, but Hayden Christensen has about as much acting ability as a paralyzed haddock, so I was slightly worried it might be rubbish. I'll probably see it sometime this week.

I don't know what Jumper is about. I never heard the plot, the actors, anything except the name. But I can tell you it's a horrible movie. Why? They called it a cross between the matrix and the bourne identity. That's pretty low, having to compare yourself to two (good) decade-old movies to get viewers.
