Not another leaving thread

Post by Kurt_ »

I'm sure some of you have noticed the decline in posts by me. I'm sure none of you curled up in a corner and cried about it, so don't now, m'kay? :P

The truth is, I will continue to decrease my post rate until one day I just stop coming altogether, unless something on this site sparks my interest again. I'm out of high school and starting work, (even if it is IS just part time at night right now), and as soon as I find another job or two I'm not going to have much time for other things, especially this site.

This isn't goodbye, it's simply an answer to the future question"Where did Kurt go?" (Where did Nos Go?)

:P

Have fun in whatever arouses your interest from now on. Good luck with high school/college/university/work etc.

To bad. You were the first person to talk to me on this forum, responding to my post.

kind of creepy that I remember that, huh?

Making projects and posting them is the fun thing on this thread to do and what it is about. If you aren't making projects, then you can contribute with helpful advice to others who are. If you aren't making projects and aren't/can't contribute to help others, there is only passing interest in what others are doing: if this isn't "gripping", then there is no point staying.

There don't seem to be many regular members here at the moment; what there is, is more of a "hardcore" membership it appears.

That's fine I didn't like you anyway.

 Just kidding man. I actually like you very much... very VERY much, actually.

 Sorry, but this is really fun. :P Seriously though, it is sad to see you "fade", anyway. I don't think anyone here really cares about my existence ('cept maybe ShockSlayer... he seems to like me...), so I just dip in and out of the forums every few months and nobody ever seems to notice I'm gone anyway. But, I think it will make a difference if you do the same. Though, eventually I'm sure you'l just stop coming back altogether... oh well. :?

Well perhaps I may not leave, but judging by the fact that I pretty much read my own threads in F42 and that's it, it's likely I won't.

I currently have a job that's about 8-10 hours every week, and am (obviously) looking for another one or two. When that happens, I'm going to be loaded with work. Think 50 hours a week. All to afford a car, a laptop, and gas on the car for four years. Damn student wage...

Oh, and I also want a trench coat. Like this one:

or this one:

http://www.abbyshot.com/products/ps-sunstalker2.php

but they're like, $400. Any clue where I'd find one for less?

You're a trench coat kid? I would never have guessed by reading your posts... Then again... some of them were a little off. :P

Anyway, good luck with whatever your endeavors.

Tis a shame. I think I'm kind of doing the same thing right now. It used to be that I checked the forums like 4 times a day now it's not even daily.

It appears I'm here to stay for a little while longer. It may be a week, it may be a month. Truthfully, right now I'm bored out of my mind. No school, barely any work. Home alone all day. Not ideal. I'm running out of movies to watch, and I recently downloaded F.E.A.R. to play (I thought it was gonna be a piece of crap, just from the name. A friend told me it was awesome. I believed him. I wasted a good chunk of my life. First half hour is all videos and levels where the only thing you can shoot is a padlock in one of them. Some FPS...).

Don't expect my interest in this place to hold forever. It's going to die out sooner or later. I'm done with portables, for sure. No interest, no money.

If I ever do leave for good, I'll get trillium or pidgin or something and a whole bunch of accounts.
