Atari vs PSOne screen

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Atari vs PSOne screen

Post by potator »

I just started an Atari 2600 project and was about to get a screen when I think I remembered something about having problems with the PSOne screen. For some reason I think I remember some sort of special video circuit being required or something. Can anyone clarify?

I don't think the new, improved version of the composite mod has that problem.

Yes, make that circuit and you'll be okay. I've done it before and it worked fine.

thanks

I did some browsing on the 2600 projects and he mentioned that you had to use the new video circuit in the pancake portable page.
