SUPERCHEAP 7" lcd

i just got a 7" lcd from ebay, it is amazing! its not super high def, but its just fine for my psonep.

Ok, but it is widescreen; so it is fine for widescreen applications like films, but 4:3 like games would miss out a large portion of the screen out as you would get chunky black borders on the left and right of the screen (or the image would be rather stretched).

It costs the equivalent of £36 (about $70 US) which is not cheap - more than a PSone screen costs.

Life of Brian - yours is presumably NTSC as you are from the US? In the UK (and I think Australia?) we are PAL.
