Loud electrical noise from 8800GT

As if i've just about had it with my new PC. When I play games, I get a loud electrical buzz from my graphics card. Yeah it's not the worst problem in the world, but it's a good cause for headaches and earaches.

Does anybody know why this happens and a good fix?

Bigger problem, rebooted the PC and now it hangs at the BIOS. Removed graphics card and no luck.

I think I may have the coolest black and most expensive paperweight ever.

Not sure why you think it is the graphics card. I would have thought the "electrical buzz" is more likely to be the power supply (PSU). Is the PSU rated high enough to work with the graphics card and system you are using? You say this is when you play games - that is when the graphics card is working the hardest and when the PSU needs greatest draw.

I would suggest; if it is a "new" computer to return it under warranty; if it is very new, demand a full refund not repair. If the system has no warranty, I suggest getting a powerful high wattage, true and silent 800 watts or higher PSU and install that removing the old one (make sure you remember the various plugs going to the motherboard, graphics card, peripherals, etc and match them with your new PSU). If your system boots, your problem should be solved. If not, it could be a variety of problems, if you get beeps on bootup then they will help to indicate the problem (you will need to look on the manufacturers website to match the beeps to the failing component).

That sounds more like a power supply issue to me. You probably need one rated to put out a higher wattage to keep your PC going. (If you bought a fairly inexpensive off-the-shelf computer and threw a new card in it, that's probably the case.)
