Game you've sunk the most time into?

Zelda:TP for me, I clocked at around 40+hours on that. Also at least like 20+ on RE4.

And countless hours on a MMO that shall not be mentioned. *shudders*

Recently Starwars:KoTOR has been eating up a lot of time, same with melee and on weekends COD4.

A game I actually played... a lot, was Quake 2 on PSX. I remember sinking a lot of time into deathmatches on that. I havent played hardly anything loads in recent memory, except for quite a bit of Halo 1, but nothing addiction wise. Since having a PSX, PS2, Xbox1, Xbox 360 and PC since 1998 :/

You guys must have lives or something with the pitiful times you spent on videogames! I have clocked 498 hours on my pokemon crystal! Hell yeah! And chrono trigger gave me a good 60 hours or so. And dont make fun of me playing pokemon, i was like 7 or 8 years old and it was the only game i had for the longest time. By the way, i just modded it with a blue led that lights up the cartridge about a week ago, its pretty sweet. If anyone wants to see it, i will post pics.

about the "1 player" games, I played a lot of games, but only finished them 1 times.

my favorite 1 player games are zelda games (ocarina of time,majoras mask,wind waker, twilight princess played at my GCp ^^) and Prey (for PC)

Hmm... good question. I think I'd actually have to say... Snowboard Kids 2 for the N64. Not my favorite game ever by a long stretch, but me and my family would play it every night for hours on end. (We'd usually play Mario Party 3 after that... heh.) Seriously. We played it A LOT. It was somewhat of a sleeper hit, and I think I could destroy literally anyone at that game, at this point. I think we've all 4 played it more that the developers. We went through SO many N64 controllers from those two games (worst quality controllers ever, I think).

A few weeks ago, I discovered that I could successfully emulate SBK on my new computer with Project 64 (best N64 emulator ever), at FULL speed with very very very few graphical glitches and NO slowdown, at 1280x1024. So, we've started playing it again... Me and my step-father use SNES controllers, and my mother and brother use PS2 controllers. The computer area is too small for 4 of us to crowd around, but we have a dual 19" flatscreen setup, so I can clone the displays (so that they both display the same thing) and turn one of them to the side. That way me and my brother can sit over at the side of the computer desk, and my mother and step-father sit at the front, looking at the primary display... It's an interesting setup, I tell you.

It's a tough call between The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Super Mario World.

Sonic 2 was what I basically was born with though. I remember, though, spending LOADS OF HOURS into freaking Mario. And then Zelda came out - holy crap, it's like crack for a ... man I can't even remember how old I was. I still play it occasionally.

I still play them all occasionally though. Sonic not so much - I've memorized holding down right on the D-pad and jumping at the right time. A little sad. Same can be said for Mario. Zelda... well, when I want to feel like a kid again I just pop it in. Better than Michael Jackson's method of buying a ranch (much cheaper too).

Over all, OoT. Then Mario. Then Sonic.

I've completed Resident Evil 2 about 6000 times or something.

I've probably logged much of my gaming time into WoW (I hardly see why hours logged into an MMO shouldn't count), the Madden collective, the Final Fantasy franchise, Project Gotham Racing (the first game only; the timer says twenty-four hours, and it doesn't count time logged when you restart a race before it ends, so I would guess close to a hundred hours), and CoD4 multiplayer. Yeah, I know CoD4's only been out for four months, but it's just that good.

Oh, and I'm sure I logged a fair share of time into MGS (particularly the VR Missions spinoff) back in the day. Of course, the most amount of time I've logged into any game/series of games is the one that rewards it the most: Virtua Fighter, the finest fighter there is (that is, the series as a whole).

You mean to say that the lot of you can turn off the relentless cat-and-mouse affair that is Death Note to log some time into a decade-old video game?

I have to agree with that, I really liked that emulator, I also use it on my acer latop with my force feedback game pad it also support rumble functions and every n64 stuffs,it also have a good plugin support. I´m waiting to get the version 1.7
