I got this battery free with my PSP's external hardrive but have never used it and keep using my official one.
I've found this battery on the list of batterys that are possible to pandora-ise but having cracked it open (small flat screwdriver and a hobby knife)
I'm unable to find the correctly labeled chip to use.
Can somebody help me on this?

I could help you, But I'd have to read up on how it works first, as I have one of those batteries.

This sounds to me like the Pandora's Battery hack, meaning it requires the serial number on the battery to be "FFFFFFFF", and this is where I get confused; I hear you can open it and hack it but if you know anyone with the 1.5kernel running (most CFWs or OFW1.5) you can use the psp app to modd your battery for you. This would be easier and since the newer realeases of the program include an EEP-ROM-backup/restore function you can re-use the battery if you dont want the pandora battery. For more info on the homebrew app method, visit www.dark-alex.org and download the latest release of "Despertar del Cementerio".dragonball345 wrote:are you sure its not only software hack?
