SSBB is just around the corner!!! Just 2 more weeks!

So what are you all doing to tide yourselves over for Brawl? For the last week I have been playing a ton of Melee and playing the Original on a Emulator at school with a buddy from my Info tech class.

Today we had a field trip to some Info Tech days a collage was having, but we had like and hour and a half (like 40 min before we left, and like an hour after we got back) so I brought my Wii knowing the risks of getting it stolen, brought 4 differant GCN and non GCN controllers (I used a PS2 to GCN adaptor)a Mad catz wireless POS, a Interact SuperPad, and my Wavebird. Since we had no TV to play on, we used a VGA box I got from play-asia.com (My friends say it sounds like a porn site) for $30 (I got the composite one, and quite frankly I am real happy with it, the worse than 480i picture is that bad at all, we hook that up to one of the computer monitors, though it was kind of a pain in the ass to have 4 people crowd around a tiny monitor.

Man was that fun, would have been a lot more fun if we had more time, but somtime in the near future I am thinking of getting a GCN real cheap and stash it somewhere in my Info tech room, and playing Melee when we are not doing any work.

Today I plan to go to a used game store and pick up a copy of the Original Smash brothers for the N64. (Yeah sadly I never got the game, but I have like 95% of all the decent N64 games) (I am still looking for RE2 for cheap)



Brawl has been already claimed to be the BEST Nintendo game ever made, though I kinda have my doubts on it, I really wouldn't be that surprised, I mean look at the Japanese sales, they are through the roof, and it is said that it is supposed to reach 1mil very soon, and that is just Japan, once this releases in other countries the sales are gonna Skyrocket to Halo like sales.

And the one thing about it is it doesn't suck a** like Halo 3 (Halo 3 to me is uber boring, COD 4 rapes it in the a**.

I'm buying it day one. And to tide me over, I'm modding my Wii and getting the Japanese version.

this game is great, it's kinda weird going from melee to this, especially when melee with lots of advanced tactics. also kinda weird seeing absolutely no clones, even all the space creatures are a lot different from each other.

I keep trying to l-cancel and its kinda useless.


by the way anyone else here that has this game one way or the other wanna try online gameplay?

Well at least you were honest.

II accually think I am a better than most people that play melee without advanced techniques, I know I need to block more, but I can`t block effectivly, I always get grabbed then thrown.

Wavedashing to me is cheap, using it to edgehog to make a player fall, or wavedashing to get near somone then easily grab them, I am glad they got rid of ALL of melees chea..... I mean advance techniques in Brawl.

its so much easier to seet spot the edge too. your character can even grab it when facing the wrong way now and both ice climbers can fit

look at falco, fox, and wolf clones.

all of them play really differently from eachother

you may see that they still all have lasers and reflectors
but there are pretty big differences even in those attacks.

I'm not gonna go and explain all the differences but once you play as them you will be able to tell.

Ike`s, Link, Samus, Mario, Luigi, the mewtwo wannabe (lucario or somthing) are the best ones, Ganondorfs isn`t half bad either.
