I don't care much for sports in general, unless it's NHL 97. Seinfeld is way better. Unfortunately I got through seasons 1-3 DVDs in a couple days. I did see the WALL-E commercial when I just went upstairs where my dad's watching though.

Watching the Mythbusters marathon I am, I live in the U.S and I could give less than a s*** about football (Football = Poor excuse for guys to grab eachothers ass), same goes for that fake ass wrestling, if I want to watch a fight not staged, I watch hockey.

I think you guys have a serious case of "I hate it 'cause it's popular"

Have you guys even watched it? Its a great sport! There's a tremendous amount of athletisicm shown, its exciting to watch, and it's fast paced! What more can you ask for in a sport? (Except for hockey, that's where it's at ;) )

But seriously guys, maybe you don't appreciate it cause it doesn't interest you. I can respect that. But for millions of people, its an excuse to get together, hang out, and have a good time. It's called being social. Whether you like the game or not, you should try it some time.

DAMMIT!

I don't care that they won, I care that everyone in a 250 mile radius of Boston is going to [female of the dog species] and moan about it for weeks.

Oh well, the Daytona 500 is coming up! :D

Have you ever played it? I've played it in gym, I think it sucks. I really dislike the turn-based nature of it. My favorite sports are soccer (football to the rest of the world) and hockey. They're fast paced and fairly continuous. Football is play for 5 seconds, reset for 20, repeat, not fast paced.

Playing in gym does not count for ANYTHING.

I've played with friends, too. Any game that stops every 5-10 seconds is crap to me, might as well play a board game, which I think is funner (not as good as soccer and hockey, though).

I was watching it during work and rooting for the giants. I don't watch sports unless it's the superbowl. 'Twas a good game.

If you don't like football, fine, you're welcome to your opinion.
My opinion is: GO GIANTS!! It was a great game. Bot teams played well and it was very close. Much lower scoring than I thought it would be, but still intense. And down the drain went the Patriots' hopes of an undefeated season.

I do believe that was the greatest game ever played. I am an Oakland Raiders fan, so normally I would have no opinion on this bowl, but this year nobody quite knows how much I've been wanting the Pats to lose. I had 4 friends at my house and we saw the entire game. At 35 seconds to the end, Eli threw a pass to the end zone and retook the lead. We yelled so hard we probably woke the neighbors. Go Giants!!!

That last-minute touchdown was pure awesome. The freaking Pats needed to burn.

That was such an ingorant comment to make, you obviously have no idea what wrestlers put themselves through.

Unlike some people here, I don't mind (American) Football so much, didn't have time to watch Superbowl though on Sunday, I had to be up early on Monday >_< I agree with people who say Ice Hockey is a great sport though.
