Well, that silly football game starts in about 10 minutes, and I'll be watching Seinfeld DVD's while it's on. I used to watch it for the commercials, but now all the good ones are on youtube the next day anyway, so it's not worth it.

I'll be glad when it's over so we don't have to hear about it anymore. (Well, if the Pats win, we'll never hear the end of it. If they don't, we'll never hear the end of it. Ugh.)

Too true about the commercials. We'll probably have it on for background noise. I don't care about football at all, and my parents are only into college football.lifeisbetterwithketchup wrote:Well, that silly football game starts in about 10 minutes, and I'll be watching Seinfeld DVD's while it's on. I had to leave my friends halo 3 party today just because his dad wanted us out because the Super Bowl was gonna be on.
We were trying to figure out why they called it the Super Bowl last night and I forget what we came up with but it wasn't the right answer.
I still don't even know what teams are playing.

Yay! There ARE other people in the USA (though a good number of the current posters in this thread are NOT in the USA...) that don't care about the Super Bowl! If there was any group of people that felt the same way about football as myself, I knew it'd be you guys.
I actually came to the forums with full intent to make one of these threads, but it was already done for me.
My step-father and brother are crazy about football, so it's hard to get away from... it's on right behind me.
But, I did something worthwhile today; I got back into DDR after a several month-long break (maybe even a year...).
Actually, I was playing Stepmania with a pad since I can play anime songs.
I think DDR is the best possible form of exercise for people like us (people that melt in the sun).
Anyway, what's everyone else doing today? Personally, every year I try to look at Super Bowl Sunday in a positive light. How? Well, while everyone else is preoccupied yelling at their TV about their silly game, I can do whatever I want.
