If you put a DS Screen sized piece of cardboard over the strum bar hole, will it cover the strum bar hole?
Yes it will

Here is another pic I took like 20 secs ago.

Oh sweet, that'll work perfectly! Thanks a lot!

EDIT: Oh, wait, no it won't... I was hoping it would be bigger than the hole in the black... Eh, I'll figure something out.

You should totally make it flip open. If you make the plastic look good, It'll be all kinds of awesome.

I don't want to make an "I'm leaving" thread, but I've sort of lost interest in this board. So if you notice that I'm gone, that's why.

But then I need a DS with both screens working AND the hinge working, and that's not cheap.

Unless you'd like to donate!! :D

Get a couple small metal hinges, and drill holes through the top screens sides right under the speakers, and put a clip on the Guitar and at the top of the top screen so it keeps the screen closed.

Would be a lot easier than relocating the top screen, or doing without.

Metal hinges might look weird, and to be honest, I'd rather not have a screen sticking out of it. For the amount of time I'm going to be looking at the screens, I think one screen, put inside the guitar with a hole on the front, will be fine.

But of course, I still can't find a cheap enough DS... I wish I wasn't so cheap!

EDIT: Got the DS. $42 shipped... I hope it was worth it.
