Permit - 16
license (driver's ed) - 16 1/2
License (no driver's ed) - 18 (and the insurance is higher)
Restrictions:
Permit - Have to have an adult with 5+ years of driving experience riding shotgun at all times
License - No passengers under 18 for first 6 months (unless they're siblings or there's a qualified adult riding shotgun.), also no driving between midnight and 5 AM for the first 6 months.
Insurance rates: Set by the state. (No GEICO, Allstate, Progressive, eSurance...) Also, high. Very high. (I've been driving for 4 years and it's only down to about 1700.

Nope you have to be 18 in Spain if you want a permit, I am however allowed to drive a moped, smoke cigarettes, and grow up to 4 cannabis plats for personal use though this is all just by spanish constitution, I'm allowed none of those by my parentstheelk wrote:16, huh?
