No More FREAKING Heroes!
How is there not a thread about this game yet? It's supposedly the best action you can get on the Wii, and perhaps any console of this generation. Personally, it's one I've been looking forward to for quite some time. That being said, I'll be picking up a copy tomorrow along with the Orange Box. Please don't tell me I'm the only one! 3rd parties for Wii deserve our money!

Just got it, can't wait to play it!
Alas, homework comes first. I'll give my reactions later. And HDC, if you think about it, you're technically getting it on time, since originally it was coming out in February, but for some reason, they just sort of arbitrarily bumped up the release date. When did they do that, anyways? I never even heard anything until last night!

What, there can't be more than one good Wii game in existence?Kurt_ wrote:I think you guys are forgetting Brawl. Just because it's delayed a month (It's not unlike Nintendo but threw me off guard, Smashbros.com made it seem like it was nearly done!) doesn't mean it isn't the best anymore!

And Kurt the game is done, it comes out in Japan next week. The supposed reason for the US delay is mostly for online play(beefing up servers, making sure it runs smoother), since US gamers care a great deal more about online. Also I think some VO stuff needed to be done.

Wouldn't doubt it. With all these delays, production is surely lacking. Good thing I've got mine reserved!Jongamer wrote:There has also been RUMORS going around saying there may be a shortage.

It's what I do.Life of Brian wrote:You made me laugh, CTFan
The only problem I encountered was a kind of clunky camera system when walking through hallways, but that's my only "con" for the game. It didn't hinder gameplay much.
But yeah, I noticed the camera problem, too. I found myself tapping the Z-button every now and then to center things. It's a bit annoying when you're just paroozling around, but during combat, the auto-lock pretty much fixes all the camera issues, in my opinion.
I've been trying to peg this game for a while, and I think I've got an accurate representation: Imagine a Quinten Tarrantino movie, only replace the dark humor with slapstick and sexual inuendos. Bam! You've got NMH. Now I'm just wondering how to budget my time between playing this and starting The Orange Box; don't shoot me, but I've never actually played a Half-Life game past 1!

Wow, IGN were being dicks when they reviewed this game, a 7? Well like everybody says, you can't spell ingnorance without IGN.CronoTriggerfan wrote:It's what I do.Life of Brian wrote:You made me laugh, CTFan

Every other reviewer except for one who gave it a 6/10 (A magazine) Hell even Xplay gave it a perfect 5/5, they don't hand out to many of those, especially for 3rd party Wii titles.
I will be sure to pick this up somtime, but can't now as my money is going toward SSBB, then I will worry about NMH, then Mario Kart.
I think the 3rd party games are gonna start catching on and get better if NHM sells well.
