How much RAM do you have? I'm really thinking of getting an EEE when I have the money, but I'm also waiting to see if they make one with a bigger and/or touch screen.shmagoogin77 wrote:i own the eee
it is simply amazing, the keyboard takes about only 30 min and then you are use to it, the processor is underclocked for some reason to 630 mhz but with the new bios update you can get it running to 900 mhz, (i have winxp and it runs fine with 630 mhz, who knew)
Well since I have had it, I haven't yet got a new keyboard, but I really do want one, while the built in is fine, it isn't exactly a productivity booster.
as for the underclocking, it keeps the heat of the machine down.
I'm running the standard Xandros in advanced mode.
It's a good OS, and doesn't have much bundled which is nice.
I got LaTeX running on it, and am still playing around with different Programming environments.
