Best Miyazaki Movie

I've loved Miyazaki since I first saw Totoro when I was about 4, and I just got my buds hooked on his stuff after they saw Spirited Away, and they all despise anime. Just shows you the effect his films have on people!

Anyways, one of the friends I got into it watched all of them over the period of a month, and we had a bit of a spat on which movie is best. Personally, I stand by Princess Mononoke as the best one, with Laputa following closely in second. His fave is Howl's Moving Castle. I dunno, but I just think that movie was such a disappointment. Good music, though. So what's your favorite movie of his? Discuss!

My fav is Princess Mononoke (Or Mononoke-hime).

I also like Howl's Moving Castle.

Totoro kicks ass, also so does Spirited Away.

i've only seen kiki's delivery service, but that was so long ago i can't even remember how good it was

mononoko-hime followed closly by kikis delivery service and totoro. i havent seen spirited away or howls moving castle yet tho.

Definitely has to be Nausica and the Valley of the Wind.

Miyazaki is just plain awesome.

His new film comes out over here in the UK soon. Saw the advert on the tele which really suprised me. Legend of Earthsea I think it's called.

My fave film by him has to be Spirited away. It was the first true anime I ever watched (Pokemon doesn't count) and it got me addicted ever since.

I have only seen Mononoke, so that is my favorite ATM.

I still need to see Spirited away, and the others.
