8. (2) 10nf capacitors
9. (1) 9 volt battery

I can probably find SOME at Radio Shack, but more then likely not all.
I also(just for crap' n' giggles) add a LED battery power indicator like this http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.10787 but DX is sold out, could I get one at radio shack? If so how do you make it work

So just a $7 radio shack soldering iron should do for this right?

Radio Shack only carries the very basics (stuff like battery holders, resistors, capacitors, a few transistors, timer ICs, and LEDs). Even for that stuff they charge a lot.

You can get away with one of their cheap irons, but I don't like them. They take forever to heat up. At least get one with a fairly high wattage, or get a better iron form somewhere else.

might as well put together a wishlist, theres a $5 fee if your order is less than $25. so get some blue leds or a complete set of the most common resistors or something

Frys has everything! some good stuff and a little of the bad and a ton of the cheap but all in all when I need something I go to frys, but as for sodering Irons I have a battery powered one..its my first one and I havent used it yet so IDK

I would go for a RF jammer instead. Illegal but its not like the FCC walks around looking for people copulate with other peoples TVs. I think the anarchists cookbook has plans for one.

I have never bought from this place, but they have a good selection. You also have to only pay like $4 for shipping with no fee like digikey. Another cool thing is they have pictures for almost all of their parts. They also supply data sheets.

And Fry's is pretty sweet, especially if you go to their physical store. I don't know, I just like going into places and actually browsing, shopping, etc. as opposed to buying things online.
